2021 MEDIA ACCREDITATION PROCEDURES AND DEADLINES

As a round of the FIA European Rally Championship, ORLEN 77 Rally Poland follows the Accreditation Guidelines set out by the FIA and Eurosport Events, the ERC Promoter.

Please read carefully the rules below to ensure all the requested information is included in the application and it is forwarded to the correct organization i.e. FIA ERC Promoter or ORLEN 77 Rally Poland Accreditation Office.

The accreditation is only provided to the media who intend to report on ORLEN 77 Rally Poland and they are on sale or broadcast to the public. Media accreditation is restricted to professional journalists, photographers and camera men.

The Media Pass is considered as a working tool and it cannot be used for public relations, promotions or entertainment purposes. No advertising, public relation agency or similar company or organization will be accredited as media. Nor will the rally issue any media accreditation to representatives (press officers or otherwise) of sponsors, suppliers, teams, drivers etc.

Print media, radio, websites, media agencies

Representatives and photographers of print media, radio, websites or media agencies (national and international) apply for accreditation using online accreditation form.

Internet accreditation is intended for professional stand-alone internet editorial / news websites only.

No more than two representatives of any media will be accredited including only one photographer’s accreditation.

Freelance photographers and journalists may be accredited if giving the evidence of relevant articles and photographs which were published. Examples of articles and photographs can be sent as scanned files by email to media@rallypoland.pl or by the courier delivery service to the following address:

Television & filming accreditation procedures

International and national TV, film/video crews must apply by emailing Paula Dequidt: Paula_Dequidt@discovery.com 

The rule refers also to the internet media, who want to film or broadcast during and after the rally and the installation of onboard cameras.

Broadcast media who wish to get information on accreditations or would like to obtain footage from Eurosport Events, please contact:

All authorised accredited filming crews will be sent an official confirmation letter 5 days prior to the ORLEN 77 Rally Poland. No accreditation can be collected without the official confirmation accreditation document.

All-season ERC media

Anyone issued with an all-season ERC media pass must not apply for event media accreditation. However, they must inform media@rallypoland.pl if they plan attend no later than 10 days in advance of the event taking place.

YouTube

Unless the authorisation from Eurosport Events TV Rights team is confirmed, please be aware that nobody is allowed to broadcast any footage on YouTube.

Drone (UAV)

Using unauthorised drones (unmanned aerial vehicle) at the area of the rally (special stages, service park, rally fan park, start and finish area) is forbidden.

Media requests must be sent no later than on Friday, 4 June 2021.

Media accreditation is issued on the strict understanding that the COVID-19 protocol outlined by the event organizers is respected at all times. The decision to issue media accreditation is at the sole discretion of the event organizers and the ERC Promoter.
